Inspiration is the key success

       Preparing for the GATE is not just as to study and mug up the syllabus. There must be a zeal in you to achieve your dream to get into The India's best institute "IIT" and become a most paid Engineer.

      First you have to know what you are reading and what for you are reading.Here are the some tips I suggest you to concentrate and learn the way to study but not read....

•        Study with interest (this is the most important of course)
• First divide your syllabus into  parts and see every part as an easy topic
• Get an overview of the topic and start from the basics
• Don't sit for long hours take breaks at regular intervals but don't take long intervals too as it would divert your mind
• If you have any other interests first complete them and then sit on to study.
• Pick up  the topic on which you are most interested. So that it may create confidence in you.
• Do smart work .Don't worry for the problems which you don't get.Keep them aside.Solving the related problems may give an idea for them.
• Buy or get a copy of previous papers and try to solve each of them. They may be your exam questions.Getting a hard copy will save your time mostly
• Allocate realistic time to each subject as there is a huge syllabus and read it all.
• Finish thorough studying of each subject and make a notes of all important points.
• After completion of each chapter go to GATE question papers and complete all the problems this will boost up your confidence.

This should be your part of study from your 5th sem. Realize that wasting of this time will result in GATE.So be careful and don't waste the time.
