Procedure for applying a passport

•  One can apply for the passport either manually or online.As everyone prefer online its easier and simple.To apply online click this http://passport.gov.in/pms/OnlineRegistration.jsp.If you would like to apply manually get a form from a passport office/DCP s/Speed post centers and can submit the application there itself
• As the passport application is machine readable please fill it carefully.
• Use only caps and don't entertain mistakes and over writings as it is going to be printed in your passport
• If any discrepancy is found, your application will be rejected
