GATE 2012 notification is out finally.As you know it is going to be conducted by IIT-Delhi.

The dates of examinations:
Online:29-01-2012
Offline:12-02-2012


The major change in this year GATE is that only final year students are eligible to write the examination
The pattern is that question paper contains 65 questions for 100 marks.. Allotting 15 marks for the aptitude!!!

Applying for a passport

  Applying for a passport is not a big task.Now its made simple by Indian passport authority.It is essential for everyone who seek jobs abroad.So get it fast...
Procedure for applying a passport

•  One can apply for the passport either manually or online.As everyone prefer online its easier and simple.To apply online click this http://passport.gov.in/pms/OnlineRegistration.jsp.If you would like to apply manually get a form from a passport office/DCP s/Speed post centers and can submit the application there itself
• As the passport application is machine readable please fill it carefully.
• Use only caps and don't entertain mistakes and over writings as it is going to be printed in your passport
• If any discrepancy is found, your application will be rejected
• The fee structure for a new passport is 1000/- with 36 pages and 1500/- with 60 pages .For remaining fee structure, visit http://passport.gov.in/cpv/FeeStructure.htm
• You have to attach the required certificates along with the application in nearest passport office/DSPs/Speed post centers.For the detailed list visit http://passport.gov.in/cpv/checklist.htm

    Forgive me , for providing a small information on this topic as I couldn't find more fitting reference to this almost fantastical information.Pranav Mistry's invention "The Sixth Sense" technology...U might be knowing the information about the sixth sense technology  in household appliances that uses fuzzy logic. But this invention is totally out of that kind.This is so amazing that it can't be described entirely with words.

   With just a camera , a cell phone and a projector, Mistry has created a device that gives us the fabled sixth sense.The device allows us to communicate with the real world as of seen in movies .The sixth sense lets us connect the digital world,providing the information overlaying on the real world.In an appropriate way, it can recognize the external objects with the camera and and provide feedback of it using a projector.
 For eg, it can see your plane ticket ,connects you to the internet and can simultaneously display the information regarding the plane you travel and about your ticket...

   The best part is the whole package is being promoted as an open-source project..isn't it amazing...of course it is....and that's a great inspiration for all the technical guys..
